A Morning Vacation To Cairo From Cyprus

I went to Egypt for one afternoon by flying from Paphos to Cairo in August 2007 when on holiday in Cyprus. It took one hour to obtain there. The air vacation was a fantastic flight and it incorporated foods (breakfast).


The morning was packed with many different things to attend to. We arrived at Cairo and was rapidly transported to some coach, which took us to our earliest destination - Citadel of Saladin.

Our subsequent quit was the Pyramids of Giza and also the Mighty Sphinx. It's dark inside of and through August the heat was unbearable. There is just a tomb down the bottom when inside. I did it just for the experience of knowing what it would feel like.

All around this part of the Pyramids was very dusty and warm, as it was August. I desired to travel to Cairo at this point only since I had a friend check out me here in Cyprus and she took it with me.

Following this we went to a five star hotel referred to as the Meridian hotel exactly where we sat and had a four course lunch. The meals was good. Some outstanding Egyptian spreads had been laid out for us.

Afterward, we visited the Papyrus Institute and shopping at oriental bazaar, wherever I bought an Egyptian 18 carat gold chain and pendant with my title composed on it in Egyptian. I also bought an Egyptian painting scroll with my title written on it in Egyptian yet again.

The Mummy space is not being missed. The background and appear of these Mummies are especially special.

The next trip was the Cruise around the Nile with folkloric presentation, belly dancing, cold sandwiches, cookies, coffee / tea including a complimentary glass of champagne. This was details of their book of all, as we cruised down the Nile whilst eating and drinking watching the entertainment. In the final analysis, we went back to Cairo airport and travelled by air to Paphos. We had snacks on the plane which was incorporated in our journey.
